TV-Presenter – Journalist – Economist


With a scholarship from the European Commission Stefanie has taken part in the Executive Training Program in Tokyo, where she also studied international management at Sophia University, explored Japan’s culture and sharpened her diplomatic skills.

Before starting her own business as a freelancer she gained experience at RTL Nord in the news department, at NDR Hamburg Journal, at ZDF and at Radio Bremen. Until 2010 she hosted a travel show on Hamburg 1 and TV Berlin. In 2013, Stefanie was selected for the mentoring program of the German Journalists Association (DJV). Since September 2018 she has been part of the prestigious global journalism fellowship program of the MUNK School of Global Affairs & Public Policy from the University of Toronto. As a fellow she works on reports together with media partners such as CBC, the Boston Globe and the Washington Post.

The versatile presenter has been in business for over 15 years and has traveled extensively. In addition to her involvement in the TV sector, she also produces documentaries and reports for independent production companies and radio stations.

She is a host and moderator for conferences, trade fairs and panel discussions. An expert on the subject of digitization, she covers topics that include SmartCities, AI, Big Data, cyber security and other digitization issues that influence the tech world.
Besides technology topics Stefanie’s areas of expertise include cultural topics, Asia, lifestyle, travel, cooking, golf and agriculture.

The presenter for expert congresses, press conferences, galas, podium discussions and talk shows can also be consulted on storyboards and concepts and offers advice and brings her experience to the table.

Currently living in Toronto, she divides her time between Canada and Germany but has lived in various parts of the world including the U.S., Cambodia, Japan, Austria and Germany.

As of 2019, she has been the newly appointed digital ambassador for Hamburg@work in Canada. Hamburg@work is Northern Germany’s cross-technology digital platform and network for a new world from and for businesses.

If that doesn’t sound adventurous enough : She climbed Mount Fuji without a plan, hiked through the Cambodian jungle and sangtunes on the Disneyland stage in L.A..

Stefanie Dreyer is very versatile presenter and brings all her expertise and 100% of her energy to every project.
